Directions From Edinburgh

Take the A702 (signposted Biggar, Carlisle A74). Follow the A702 through Silverburn, Carlops, West Linton, Dolphinton.  Approximately 1 mile before you reach Biggar, turn left onto the A72 signposted Peebles & Skirling.

Continue through Skirling until you reach the A701. Turn right. (signposted Broughton, Moffat). Turn right. After 3/4 mile (and on a corner) turn right. The sign says ‘Broughton Knowe Wood and there is also small sign cookschool.com. Go past car park and continue up the road for 3/4 mile. Go past the new house at the top of the hill then through the green gate down to main farmhouse.

Directions From Glasgow

Take the M74 (direction Carlisle) and leave the M74 at junction 13 (Abington).At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A702 (signposted Edinburgh) A702 At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A702 (signposted Biggar, Edinburgh)

Continue to Biggar and go right through the town and past the right hand turn-off to Broughton village.  After half a mile take a right turn onto the A72 signposted Peebles & Skirling.  Continue through Skirling until you reach the A701.
